hellburner: (that my life was just about to change)

THE THESE ARE MY CONFESSIONS MEME

Does your character have a deep dark secret that they don't want out? Well, too bad. Something has just forced your characters to reveal their inner most secrets, true identities and even elements of their own past that they've tried to forget. What shouldn't be known is suddenly known. What shouldn't be said is suddenly exclaimed.

No one can lie in a thread, you lack the capacity to. All confessions are truthful and sincere. It's uncontrollable what you say to a person.

You could say that, though I suspect I'm a little more used to it then you are. But I do understand the 'made for the express purpose of destruction' thing.
breatheinthefog: (huh. aliens have tentacles)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
People always seem surprised.
namedforcat: (head tilt)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it's not something that people are used to. When they look at you, they see a child, someone who is the very example of life and living.
breatheinthefog: (sir yes sir)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
I already knew they were obsessed with age and had a thing for protecting children. Even the humans my age were annoyed by that, though.

Oh I know. The thing is, kids grow up in mind far before they grow up in body, and a lot of adults forget that.
breatheinthefog: (gullible isn't written on the ceiling)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
Strange.

...The other feelings. What do you understand about them?
namedforcat: (Self reflection)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
I understand the feeling of the power of destruction, the empty power it offers you. I also understand getting attached to what you were created to destroy. I understand not completely understanding what being human is, or what they expect of you.
breatheinthefog: (all we ever do is sulk)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
...so it's normal. For all of that to happen.
namedforcat: (Reassuring Smile)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
It is. I suspect even normal humans have to go through the stage of 'oh god, what does everyone want from me, what am I supposed to do?'
breatheinthefog: (i'm too wiped out to deal with this)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
I'm starting to like things. To like people. I don't know why. I don't know how to stop it.
namedforcat: (feeling blue)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think you should stop it. It's part of living around other sentient beings.
breatheinthefog: (now i will throw a tree)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
It nullifies my purpose.
namedforcat: (so very tired)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
[oog, he understand that too.] I think you'll have a better time with it then I did. I know a lot of people would tell you 'find a new purpose', but it isn't that simple.
breatheinthefog: (team destruction!)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Fate is fate. Destiny is destiny.
namedforcat: (Surprise)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Fate has nothing to do with it. Who ever told you that?
breatheinthefog: (existential crisis)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't that how it is?
namedforcat: (Actually kinda angry now)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
No it really isn't. Fate, God, destiny, they have nothing to do with purpose. Yes, we were designed for destruction, and yes it's our purpose, but not our 'fate'. The future is not set in stone, no matter what some people may think, and the ideas of fate and destiny rely on it being that way.
breatheinthefog: (just saw my own eyes in the mirror)

[personal profile] breatheinthefog 2012-06-07 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
You really think that.
namedforcat: (A quiet moment)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
I do. Admittedly my universe was stuck in a 'recursion time loop' for a good while, but there were always unforeseen changes.
namedforcat: (head tilt)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-07 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, to put it simply, the universe was going to implode, so in order to stop it a man named Wilhelm created the 'eternal recursion' in order to prevent it. From what I hear, we finally managed to break it this time.

namedforcat: (This can't be happening)

[personal profile] namedforcat 2012-06-08 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
And that's just the simplified version.
