He's managed to escape most of the trouble 'mudbloods' get in Slytherin by means unknown and is generally well liked by the students for being a patient, tolerant ear who doesn't even take his own class too seriously, but there are a few rumors among the longer established faculty that he's using school resources for personal research into immortality.*

I think helping to collect specimens for the Care of Magical Creatures class should give you ample chance to see how dangerous the Forbidden Forest can be without putting you in any real danger.

Many students dislike him, and he doesn't seem to favor any house. There are rumors that he's a Death Eater, but no one seems to know for sure.]

[Tatsuma's an odd case, being pureblood but having been raised by Muggles. He's also very quiet, particularly for a Gryffindor. Still, he's nice enough, and he excels at any practical magic demonstrations.
